Oster Island: Around Norway in Half a Day! (private tour)

6 Hours

Overview

Discover an island off Bergen which encapsulates Norway, minus glaciers and polar bears of course. Hop on to our Tesla Model X seven-seater and explore the diverse island hidden in plain sight – an ideal place to admire Norway’s breathtaking nature and fascinating culture. Our experienced and enthusiastic driver-guide will take you through less-travelled roads and paths to give you a memorable tour. Your guide speaks English.

We cross the Sørfjord and drive past salmon farms and traditional farm clusters on winding roads for a birds-eye view of the fjord, distant hills and villages in the valley. Drive along the highland meadows and bogs of wild Norway. Walk through one of the steepest bicycle paths in the country that snakes its way to a stunning vale dominated by a romantic lake. Drive across the island and get on a car-ferry to get back to Bergen.

This tour is ideal for travellers who want to make the most out of their time in Bergen. You get the best of Bergen and the surrounding countryside in a single day. After this half-day picnic you have enough time to roam the city. You can even pair this trip with our special 2-in-1 city tour in the afternoon. If the start time doesn’t suit you, be in touch. We are sure our flexible team can find a time slot suitable for you. If you are more than 6 people, drop us a message before you book the tour. We can send a bigger vehicle for you.

Note: If you are travelling with children, please tell us in advance to help us be prepared with child seats/boosters to comply with safety regulations. We need the number of children, their age and height. Please be advised that two seats on Tesla’s back row are best-suited for those not taller than 160 centimetres.
