Bergen bouncing!

Bergen, Norway’s second-largest city and the gateway to the fjords, is firmly leading the tourism industry’s rebound from the pandemic-induced slumber.

Passenger traffic across Norway’s airports has been increasing this summer, but the numbers still remained lower than in 2019. Bergen and Trondheim, however, were notable exceptions, continuing a trend seen last summer.

The traffic at the Bergen airport at Flesland had increased by 13% in June 2022 from June 2019.
